Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I'm riding the Tour of Northland again this year. Last year it was about personal achievement, this year I thought i'd ride for a better cause.

The tour takes 4 days to complete, starting with a 92km (57 mile) ride from Whangarei to Dargaveille. After an afternoon of R and R and a good sleep, it's back on the bike for a 84km (52 miles) through the Kauri forest (and a 13km climb - aagghh!) to Opononi. The next day is a nicely undulating 83km (51.5 miles) over to the beautiful Bay of Islands, and probably a good massage as the legs are getting a bit upset with me by now. An early ferry crossing and the final 89km (55 miles) with about 35 hill climbs (on day 4 - who's idea was that!?) takes us from Russell back to the start in Whangarei.
